Taking organic carbon-based biomass waste and repurposing it into value added commodities that offset virgin mineral oil projects

- During operation (24/7), there are no discharges from the closed s e-Thermo [3] system.
- This continuous e-Thermo [3] thermochemical treatment captures & removes harmful contaminants & toxins,
stopping them from going into the atmosphere or landfill. - The energy for heating is electrically generated onsite, from less than 15% of the produced syngas.
- There is NO combustion with this oxygen-free thermochemical decomposition process.
- The e-Thermo [3] plant is a closed system that has NO emissions.
- Green hydrogen is the only type produced in a climate-neutral manner
Assumptions
- There are large volumes of plastic going to landfill.
- For plastic, landfills are not carbon sinks within GHGE analysis standard methods. Therefore the purposing of plastic to any product that offsets mineral oil use is a mitigated use reduction in GHGE.
- Systems that reduce new carbon inputs, e.g. by replacing mineral oil products have GHGE reduction potential.
- Many recyclable plastics can’t be recycled due to contamination.
- Plastic waste does not require cleaning, as the H2&e e-Thermo [3] system’s high temperature closed system breaks contamination down into molecular components.
- Organic dyes are chemically decomposed while halides and rare earth components can be collected from the syngas or char outputs.
